Lemon magic

Fabulous-Form-EN.png

Lemons are super magical. Just a dash of this magnificent citrus does wonders to elevate the flavours in a dish and take it into another gustatory dimension. But their magic is even stronger once past the taste buds. Although the amazing hesperidium juice may taste acidic on its own, yet when metabolized by the body, the result is an alkaline effect.

And this is incredibly good news. Why might you ask? Because, ô lucky lemonphiles that you are, various highly respectable studies state that an alkaline diet could mitigate chronic diseases, improve many outcomes from cardiovascular health to memory and cognition, may benefit bone health, reduce muscle wasting in old people, stimulate growth hormone and facilitate vitamin D absorption.

A simple test will help you see where you stand. Dilute the juice of 1 beautiful lemon in 1 mug of warm water. If it tastes very sour to you, your body is probably more acidic. If, on the other hand, it doesn’t taste sour at all, your body is most likely more alkaline, which is a much healthier state. We take this opportunity to congratulate you profusely.

By keeping the ratio of lemon juice to water consistent and taking the mixture daily, you should eventually reach a point where it doesn’t taste sour at all.

If your stomach is rather fragile, drink this potion after meals.

A word of caution: If unfortunately, you are allergic to citrus fruit, you have our deepest sympathy. We are sorry that you’ll never experience the intense pleasure of their wonderful effect on your papillae and your pH.

If you are lacking minerals, if you feel the cold or if you suffer from heartburn, don’t drink undiluted lemon juice or diluted juice on an empty stomach. Drink it after your meal.
